The journal publishes the results of works on physics, mechanics, geophysics and geochemistry of snow and ice, as well as geographical aspects of the existence of snow and ice phenomena and their relationship with other components of the natural environment. The main objective of the journal is to discuss the latest results of research carried out in Russia, as well as the work of Russian scientists in collaboration with specialists from other countries.
